A 2015 Denon W1200X ? This also work with Infuse, if so which version ?
Also, what are your tvOS audio settings ?
And last, is your receiver getting DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1 compressed and decoding it or MPCM (multi-channel PCM).
I am on TestFlight on version 4.1 of Infuse Pro and DTS is working on my setup, however it plays as multi channel PCM. DD does not work - it identifies as Stereo and plays as such.
My tvOS settings are all on AUTO and "reduce loud sounds" is off

I started getting buffering messages on livetv, and video would initially play, then some seconds later pause, and buffering message displays, then playback starts once more. I also noticed that AV was out of sync.
I then uninstalled MrMC, rebooted AppleTV 4, then reinstalled MrMC thru TestFlight again.
This time, no issues with buffering or AV sync.
(Perhaps is best to uninstall 1.5 version before trying TestFlight version.)
Hi there,
I can confrim that the issues I ahd with buffering issues seems to go away if you uinstall MRMC and tehn restart and install ago as "three6zerocool" writes above
Finding odd buffering/AV Sync issues when changing livetv channels.
Seems to occur changing from a channel with stereo audio, to one with AC3.
Does not seem to do it all the time, but it appears to start playback for a few seconds, pause, start buffering, then resumes playback. On occasion, the AV sync is out after this buffering.
Does not seem to do the above behavior with media files, only livetv in my case.
I decided to try out the option 'System/Settings/Video/Playback/sync playback to display option , to enabled.
This seemingly has resolved the AV sync behavior. (Touch wood)
The 'sync playback to display' option did not seem implemented under isengard, but under Jarvis code base, it seems to do something.
Upon changing channels between stereo and surround tv channel, it now buffers immediately for couple of seconds, then playback starts of the channel, and it seems fine. (No, playback then pause, then buffering, then play)
There maybe some tweaking of channel changing, that I need to do in my PVR clients options.
(MediaPortal in my case). It has options for delay on channel change etc, which I don't use.
One interesting option in MediaPortal plugin, is to be able to disable fast channel switching, which stops the time shift buffer. I disable this option, as I find changing channels between stations with stereo and AC3 audio, without first stopping playback before changing channels, sometimes results in loss of audio. So, for that reason I found disabling fast channel switching in the PVR plugin resolves that issue for me.
Whether this only affects the MediaPortal PVR plugin, I can't say.
However, a bit of buffering at beginning of playback does not seem abnormal, and the 'sync playback to display' seems to be stopping the pause/buffer/resume behavior. Instead I now just get an initial buffering, then continuous uninterrupted playback.
Requires further testing, and will report back.
Will also try and get a log capture, should this occur again.
