2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back

Code: Select all
https://imgur.com/a/2I1WHkqThe first 2 images are by playingback with AVCodec (1080p file) (LG OLED B7)
the other 2 images are with the Videotoolbox..
In the start you can see the white filter that is applied to the whole movie when playing back with Videotoolbox while AVCodec produces more accurate colors.

There is no 'white filter' being applied. Something going on with SDR/HDR mapping.solamnic wrote: 27 Feb 2019, 13:30Better with images..Code: Select all

Same settings on TV that are on AVCodec...
BTW when playing back with videotoolbox - in the pictures i ve previously attached - one can see the black bars up and down on the movie that they have the correct color.. the movie colors are not correct,
btw my brother in law who has the same tv (and mrmc-appletv) also experiences the same problem, so he is also using the avcodec..
oled technology maybe?
BTW...
I maybe managed to solve the problem with the ticking sound..
Audio - Play Gui Sounds -> i set it to NEVER..
and the crappy ticking noise seems to have gone.. will also report after more testing..

Re: Testing MrMC 3.8.0 - [Invites Closed]
There's another setting that might help with the ticking noise.
To keep an a/v receiver 'alive' with respect to audio, MrMC outputs audio 'silence'. It's not pure zeros but a very low level of random PCM. There's a setting that controls the level.
settings, system, audio, 'level of inaudible silence',
default
2 times less
10 times less
100 times less.
Default value is, of course 'default'
The other thing is you might have changed the gui sounds from default 'appletv' to internal mrmc.
Settings, Appearance, skin, gui sounds.
