It's not DolbyVision and worse, they screwed up the colors. Nice work guys :)
lol wow. I never saw the mediainfo as I don't have access to private tracker sites. but that's literally what is happening to my mkv's I make right now, so they clearly did my above method. literally the only thing left in making a full dv mkv remux is properly extracting the single layer h265 video track from the mp4 without losing dolby vision.

haha ya I had no idea, was literally going by the filename only. that's pretty sad ppl try and pass this off as Dolby Vision. Also kinda cool it's not cuz as soon as we get this last step we'll be the first with dv mkv remuxes :)

When i rip to DV 1.0 the subtitles is output into a separate file moviename.sub.
When i play the movie in mrmc you can see all the subtitles but they will not show up on movie. Can this bee fixed.

Only if I get samples so I can reproduce the issue.

subs work for smb/nfs.

plex server does not support VOBSUB.

https://support.plex.tv/articles/200471 ... our-media/
Supported Subtitle Formats:
SRT
SMI
SSA (or ASS)
WebVTT

Other formats such as VOBSUB, PGS, etc. may work on some Plex apps but not all. For almost all apps, both VOBSUB and PGS subtitles will require the video be transcoded to “burned in” the subtitles for streaming.
idx/vob are VOBSUB

Checked Plex's native client, not only does it not see the subs but it does not support dvhe codec.
