Limited TestFlight 4.0.0 - Apple TV/iOS - Temporarily Closed

Just installed 4.0 on my ATV 4k. Started with the lite logo and lite functionality. Went to "App Store" menu item. Checked the license and it said full. However, only 8 items were listed. Rebooted the ATV et voilà - full version logo, full functionality. Waiting for clearance for the iOS version now.

FYI. Indeed The mrmc lite logo appeared only once. After force quit and restart the normal mrmc logo is displayed.

Was the functionality “lite” before the force quit? Or was it just the logo?

Update : I tried it on my second ATV4K. It starts out in MRMC Llite mode. Only 8 or so tvhows where displayed with 138 episodes ? and a message appeared to ask you to purchase the full product.

This device also activated to full license without issues.

it activated how? did you have to "restore" the purchase or did it do it by itself?

Downloaded 4.0. Prompted for Apple ID & password as soon as opening.. I canceled just to test. Homepage loads but accessing libraries (Movies, TV Shows, etc.) loads nothing. Could play from anything listed under Recently Added/Up Next.

Settings > App Store > Restore Purchases - Lifetime activated. Force quit & restarted Apple TV - Reopen MrMc and tap Movie library, nothing loads. Try TV Shows, nothing loads

Second one may have been connection issue on my side. Signing out/in of Emby looks to have resolved.

looks ok, it asks for Apple ID/pass to verify the purchase prior to 4.0.0

Worked ok for tvOS. Went into Settings / App Store and Lifetime upgrade from past purchase was set to active. The only hiccup was having to force quit MrMC and restart before the Lite limitations were removed which might cause some confusion for users.

For iOS, I entered my library and after receiving the popup about Lite's limitations I clicked on Go to Store which caused the screen to go black. Had to do a force close but when I restarted this removed the Lite limitations.

iOS TestFlight that was just dropped added the AppStore in settings so that’s good. It wasn’t there in the first version I tried.
