I think the S1:E12 naming convention looks quite good on my TV Screen as in the Test Flight just released.

Seems like we are happy with this look so the last thing to do would be to update the episode details page to match our S1:E5 format (as opposed to 1x05). This would tie everything together bringing a consistent look across the app. Plus it seems to have become somewhat of an industry standard to have the S with E formatting on the episode pages as this is the way it is done on Netflix, Disney Plus (see photos earlier in thread), Emby and Plex to name a few.

Yes i agree it should be consistent across all views and screens. That means dropping the 1x12. Or season 1, episode 12 methods.

What to do with episode names, do we need a Seperator at positions ?

The 100 - S1:E12 - Planetfall
The 100 S1:E12 - Planetfall <—- I like this one
The 100 S1:E12. Planetfall
The 100 S1:E12 Planetfall

Probably next TestFlight for these adjustments?

S1:E12. Episode name
Just a reminder then 😬 should it be also changed on the in video / playing info screen ?
Now it’s : Blindspot - Season 1, Episode 12

Do you want it to be : Blindspot - S1:E12
OR
Do you want it to be : Blindspot. S1:E12

No rush 🙏

Crap, it’s everywhere :)

I think Blindspot - S1:E12 but it might go over to a next version, I fear @davilla will kill me :)

Not sure if I should open up this can of worms but here we go :P

I'm not completely sure if S1:E12. Episode name is the best look for our new format. The . at the end worked okay before in the List view when we used just numbers only but something about it just doesn't look quite right now especially in the Wide and Fanart view options. I associate a . being used in numerical lists and this isn't really the case in Wide and Fanart.

Perhaps a more universal format that would work better in all screens could be used such as

S1:E12 - Planetfall

Just my opinion. Of course this doesn't need to be rushed through. It can wait until the next release to be looked into. Don't want amet to get killed. We need you around here!

I agree. I just noticed the change recently and it looks messy to me. I would get rid of the period after the episode number for sure, and have either just a space or a dash as mentioned above.
