I just switched to amber from Ariana and low and behold Genres work?

They work on old skins, Amber and Black glass nova, as that uses a different path to collect filter data from emby server and it’s hard coded to sets, genres and years if I remember correctly.

Plex service and MrMC database have a setting where clicking the “Movie” tab will either take you to title listing or display nodes that service supports and list them dynamically... Clicking further will take you deeper into it to display all movies within the node.

this is complete , it will be in the next TestFlight/Beta, test it please and let me know if anything is missing

Settings -> videos -> flatten hierarchy -> OFF needs to be set

How can I test it? Do I have to wait for the next beta?

That’s how it works, you signup for betas/TestFlight and when we push new fixes you can test
