I thought I have seen it in a previous MrMC version; the reason I remember is that the media tile for Music Video was placed just as the left most one against the sort order.

I have an LG OLED65G8 (4K, Atmos and DolbyVision capable).
The sample plays back, colors are offset, e.g. fire and glass red is Lila and Coca Cola green is Brown; how do I know the original colors? The fire is obvious, but I used “another” player which works correctly ;)
BTW: I tried other DV samples from other posts in this forum and got the same results of the false colors; didn’t report that since I’m on tvOS 13 beta!

there were some DV samples I found linked to in this forum that were clips of Gladiator and Skyscraper. Those and other DV from the past play just fine. It's just these "new" ones that are off color.

tvOS 12.4
Apple TV 4K
3.9.0 (190727.1948)
MySQL
Skin Ariana

Stereo upmix is working fine now.

As for the flickering home I must state I still got it immediately after the first start of the new build. Maybe @logan_x50 can tell his experience.

With a Plex backend in Ariana, if I go to my music library the view option can only be list. With an Emby background I can have a list, icons, or fanart.

Also, it'd still be great to be able to set it to go into an album view and sort by artist / year instead of the artist view. The way it is now (with Emby back end) mixes in featured artist with the album artists on the main thing so it's not a very useful view.

Same for me. - Also ATMOS not shown
(BTW: Native Plex on my LG and also on ATV with old player switches to DV and ATMOS and then only has some wired colored Blocks and then stops. XPlay on LG works fine (even as ATMOS) - Latest Infuse beta plays also fine as DV but no ATMOS)

davilla wrote: 25 Jul 2019, 00:18 Nor can I tell the issue about reversing the sort order.
Emby Library orders in:
3.8.1:
Sort_3.8.1.JPG
3.90:
Sort_3.9.0.JPG
Emby:
Emby.JPG

Above shouldn't be ROCKET SCIENCE, isn't it :?:

Like I said before, if MrMC can't use the Emby API for the library order defined by the Emby Server User profile settings in Emby itself, than at least the standard "Kodi" library order should be followed by category (Movies>>TV Shows>>Music etc).
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5017&sid=0bce7a9b1 ... 120#p25324
Fixed, yes it's not rocket science once the issue is fully understood. That was the missing piece, actually understanding what was wrong.
While it was NOT my request to get the Emby Library sort order fixed, I say THANK YOU, in name of ALL the Emby Client Service users out here :)

Good to see NOW that MrMC is FINALLY following the Emby Server USER Profile Settings for the Emby Library Sort Order in MrMC.

After re-entering home I still get the flickering effect caused by a wrong sequence for building up the shelf.

You should generate in following sequence (and not vice versa):

„In Progress Movies“ followed by
„In Progress TV shows“ followed by
„Recently Added TV shows“ followed by
„Recently Added Movies“ and then
„Recently Added Albums“.

But you do it the other way round in 3.9.0 so that in fact you replace the upper rows several times, what looks like flickering.

Just go back to the coding of 3.8.1 for this routine.

Just to clarify, we do it in that order but albums come back much faster.

We are looking into possible solutions before we revert to how it was.

Up side of how it’s done in 3.9.0 is that slow loading for remote plex installations is better and more gradual. We collect each section individually now where before we waited for all of them to be ready and filled them at once.

Hope this clarifies it a bit
