Testing MrMC 3.8.1 - Apple TV - [Invites Closed]

What comes to my mind.... in early development of the Live thumbnail scrubber, MrMC decided to disable real time scrubbing of PVR recordings in PVR, due to problems with scrubbing TS files (pixelated thumbnails in scrubber).

When I now play my recordings directly from my SMB share, I see no problems anymore in current MrMC version with real time scrubbing of thumbnails for those same TS files.

Do other users also see this, that those problems are gone or do some still experience problems with real time scrubbing with thumbnail, of their TS recordings files, direct played from their recordings share.

If none experience problems anymore with scrubbing TS files, can MrMC devs enable back, Live scrubbing playing recordings in PVR ?

Isn't there a way to program around it, because when MrMC plays a recording from the DVBLink/TVMosaic PVR, it only request this for playback:

Isn't it that after this request MrMC takes over the playback from the PVR ?
And this recording playback is not tuner limited, because that URL for the same recording, can be played back in multiple VLC sessions at once.

Curious to know what the limitations are, that you describe, that I'm not aware of.

Again, PVR clients do not support handling multiple streams at once. Just because one happens to work is a lucky quirk.

At the level of scrubber handling, there is no info about which PVR client, only that the stream is coming from a PVR client. Enabling it will 'fix' one and break all the others. Not an option right now.

Thanks for the clarification and understandable. So maybe a feature request for the future ?

Back on topic with feedback:

Opacity:

1) Pause playback Live TV in DVBLink/TVMOsaic PVR also doesn't show any OSD (just like previously reported Skip FW/BW)

2) Missing "Codec Info" in OSD (in OSD on top with Settings Audio Video, just like is present in Ariana).
Can we have that Ariana feature also in Opacity ?

Nice speedup of Emby loading on Home screen.... but a BIG but:
- Both DVBLink/TVMosaic PVR's won't startup in its separate MrMC profiles.

Reverted quickly back to previous TF, to keep the Wife happy on her TV night

Accessing local network Plex is working again, thanks. At least on tvOS. No update yet for shield.

Also, I can confirm that tvmosaic didn't start up.

MrMC do not even start with me. The MrMC icon will be displayed for a moment and then quit again. Maybe it's the tvOS beta.
