It just happened to me again. I have my hard drives set to not go to sleep.

I installed the latest TestFlight build, opened MrMC then did a Library update. Instantly, my Movies and TV Show sections disappeared.

mysql server disappeared again.

I figured, but don't get why it keeps disappearing if the server is on and not asleep.

what does the mysql server log show ?

How do I check the log? I assume you mean on my computer?

yes, mysql server log on you computer where mysql server is located.

it just happened to me again while updating the library. Everything is gone. I have no idea how to enable or find the MySQL log files. I can't find any straightforward instructions online for someone like me who has no experience with this.

There seems to be multiple solutions there, so I picked the easiest one which led me to /usr/local/mysql/data and then I found the file "mysqld.local.err". Here is the contents:
