Yeah. 3.7.0 moved on to egl3, which is supposed to be supported since ages on android, but looks like the mi box (and most probably AFTV3 / AFTV cube, i.e. AML S905) doesn't like it.wesk05 wrote:What is the build that is crashing? @koying, any chance to implement in MrMC Android a MPEG2 Software hardware decoding switching ala SPMC or LibreELEC ?
SD mpeg2 deinterlacing would likely then work on Mi Box with a bit of YADIF2X love.

The other requirement for Amcodec to show up in Jarvis was a r/w permission check of /sys/class/display/mode, which in reality is not needed on the Mi Box as it has broken refresh switching anyway.
