I sent you logs last week over a problem I'm having with a mkv video on SMB server. MrMC struggles to skip forward or backward taking 10 or more seconds to start playing again. When it does start playing again audio and video are out of sync. Any findings from those logs?
Would have to review email Sometimes things get lost. Same under this testflight ? smbclient or libdsm ?
you replied to the email asking what it was about but probably still got lost with other things going on.
both libdsm and smbclient exhibit the problem though libdsm may work slightly better.
I don't think so this issues is related to PVR buffer but, When I'm watching movies or TV from my private cloud across ftp, some times, the sound and video start to freeze and continue, freeze and continue... Maybe It is due to my fibre connection, but here is the log

Might try diddling the network buffer setting to see if they change anything. Your connection might be fiber but when you have something 'on the cloud', it is the overall state of the path between your cloud and client (MrMC) that determines the actual through-put. Here, both latency AND bandwidth matter.
... on a side note: During the phase of nailing this bug I mentioned that I used the nightly builds of Kodi V17 for OS X to verify it's existence apart from MrMC 2.x. Just tried the recent one: "All of a sudden" the buffering issue is gone now for these builds also. Did they ever thank you for this?
