yeh i second that it is kinda ugly =/ the banner on the mrmc forum is more prettier :-S

The one above is the current tvos icon (with play icon in 'C'). Maybe later we hold a contest for something better.

well that ones not showing for me yet and I am on the latest update still the one with the grey background. A contest would be good

BTW, is the "star" in the bottom left corner supposed to do anything ? AFAIK for XBMC/Kodi it used to be a short cut to your favorites. However... not sure how you can ever click on this button. Do you plan to take it out ?
