TVOS has an accessibility option that makes the cursor stand out more / high contrast.
This puts a border around the currently selected item. If enabled it is system wide as well as certain other apps like Netflix etc.
I was wondering if something like this could be added to Ariana? May help people like me with vision impairments.

Basically it puts a white border around the currently selected item in addition to the standard raised effect.
If you enable this setting in TVOS itself you can see how it works on the home screen for reference.

it doesnt seem possible to get this setting from tvOS, meaning... if someone set this to "High Contrast"in Apple Tv we have no way of knowing that
I'll keep looking.... what we could do is add MrMC setting that would enable that on all posters and list items... I would prefer the tvOS setting

I know apps like Netflix also use the TVOS settings as that adds a white border around the cursor when the setting is applied at the system level.

no, there is no way to get that setting over to MrMC

I'll still look around in UIKit , there might be a way
netflix, like almost all tvOS applications , uses TVML to do the UI. That means that tvOS takes care of drawing the buttons and can place the white border around them when needed
