Post by Waltman »

Hi, Two problems With iOS 14.5

1 - I can no longer browse nfs shares in the file manager and screenshot folder. Old links to nfs shares still work fine.

2 - I am unable to upload a debug log, the message is : log not uploaded.

HTTP returned error 413
07:52:37.088 T:6130102272 ERROR: UploadLogs: Failed to upload log - UEHV6.log to http://log.mrmc.tv

Log file though web interface is too big for pastebin, can I send it somewhere else ?

Can you help me out ?

These problems occurred when my synology nas had een update and reset the root squash mapping of the nfs shares. The problem occurs when the option: map all users to admin is selected. It would be better if Synology gave an option to map to specific user.

- admin account is disabled (and another user has administrative rights)
- now nfs shares are bound to the admin Id (if selected, no mapping is an option I did not try)
- login with terminal
- checkuser id with Id
- switch to root
- changing the user Id with vi etc/exports to the user Id with administrator rights resolves the issue.
- reboot the nas
- fixed

oh, the logging issue is still a thing. but that has been mentioned before
