Ok sounds good thx for the answer. But converting dual layer to single layer....I dont think thats gonna happen anytime soon cause Dolby doesnt release any insights to their Vision stuff, understandable to some degree. Thats a shame. Probably not gonna happen for 0,5-1 year.

Never underestimate the power of reverse-engineering. Many formats/protocols are private and have no official public docs but where there's a will, there's a way :)
